A Name.A Question.A Conversation.
The Yeshua Movement began with a simple idea: What if putting the name of Yeshua where people could see it created opportunities to tell people who He is?
How It Started
It started with ישוע.
Put the name Yeshua in Hebrew on a hat and something interesting happens.
People notice it. Some recognize Hebrew. Others have no idea what it says. And eventually someone asks: “What does that mean?”
That's the moment. Not because the hat itself is extraordinary, but because the question creates an opportunity to talk about Yeshua.
What began as something to wear became something with a greater purpose. And from that idea came The Yeshua Movement.
From the Founder
It started with a hat.
I wore a hat with one word embroidered across the front: ישוע — Yeshua.
When I wore it to an event with Rabbi Jason Sobel, people noticed it. They asked questions. Conversations started.
And I began to see just how powerful something this simple could be.
A person sees the Hebrew letters and asks: “What does that say?”
That question creates an opportunity to explain that Yeshua is the Hebrew name of Jesus—to talk about what His name communicates, His Jewish identity, and ultimately, who He is.
I started thinking bigger.
What if more people wore His name?
What if we gave hats away? What if one simple Hebrew word could create conversations about Yeshua in grocery stores, airports, restaurants, workplaces, churches, synagogues and everywhere else we go?
A hat isn't the mission. The conversation is.
That idea became The Yeshua Movement.
My hope is that every hat worn, every item given, and every conversation started points beyond this organization to Him.
Because ultimately, this movement has one purpose: MAKING HIS NAME KNOWN.

Why Yeshua?
His Hebrew name helps us remember His story.
Yeshua is the Hebrew name of Jesus. For us, using His Hebrew name is not about replacing the name Jesus or suggesting that someone must use one particular pronunciation to know or follow Him.
It is about remembering His story.
Yeshua was born into the Jewish people. His life and teaching took place within the world of Israel and the Hebrew Scriptures. His first disciples were Jewish, and they proclaimed Him as Israel's Messiah before carrying that message to the nations.
What We Do
Wear the name.
The Yeshua hat carries His name in Hebrew. People notice it, and when they ask, you have the easiest opening there is.
Share the name.
We want to help people move naturally from “What does that say?” to a genuine conversation about Yeshua.
Give the name.
We want to put items carrying His name into the hands of people who will wear them, share them and sometimes give them away.
What We're Building
The goal is conversation.
The Yeshua Movement is a nonprofit ministry built around a simple mission: Making His Name Known.
As the movement grows, our vision is to create and distribute items and resources that make the name of Yeshua visible and help people explain the story behind it.
Some will be purchased. Some will be given away. Some may travel farther than we ever know.
But each one has the potential to begin with the same question: “What does that say?”
This is more than a hat.
It's an invitation to a conversation. Wear the name. Share the name. Give the name. And when someone asks—tell them who He is.
